Margaret Farrow

Former Lt. Governor Margaret Farrow has been elected to serve as the President of the Waukesha County Action Network. This new private nonprofit civic organization is modeled after the Greater Milwaukee Committee, aimed to bring business and community leaders in the county together to align and collaborate resources towards systematic growth and regional cooperation. Farrow has been consulting in governmental affairs after leaving office, and serves on numerous boards in Southeastern Wisconsin. She initiated the concept of WCAN in April of 2004 and business leaders rallied to the charge to put together the organization she will now lead.

Prior to being appointed lieutenant governor, Farrow was president of the Elm Grove, Wisconsin Village Board. After her term with the Village Board, Farrow was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate from a district comprising most of Waukesha County, Wisconsin.

Committed to bringing citizens together to solve problems and build stronger communities, Margaret Farrow has dedicated more than 25 years to public service as an elected official.
