Farrow
Former Lt.
Governor
Margaret
Farrow has
been elected
to serve as
the
President of
the Waukesha
County
Action
Network.
This new
private
nonprofit
civic
organization
is modeled
after the
Greater
Milwaukee
Committee,
aimed to
bring
business and
community
leaders in
the county
together to
align and
collaborate
resources
towards
systematic
growth and
regional
cooperation.
Farrow has
been
consulting
in
governmental
affairs
after
leaving
office, and
serves on
numerous
boards in
Southeastern
Wisconsin.
She
initiated
the concept
of WCAN in
April of
2004 and
business
leaders
rallied to
the charge
to put
together the
organization
she will now
lead.
Prior to
being
appointed
lieutenant
governor,
Farrow was
president of
the Elm
Grove,
Wisconsin
Village
Board. After
her term
with the
Village
Board,
Farrow was
elected to
the
Wisconsin
State Senate
from a
district
comprising
most of
Waukesha
County,
Wisconsin.
Committed to
bringing
citizens
together to
solve
problems and
build
stronger
communities,
Margaret
Farrow has
dedicated
more than 25
years to
public
service as
an elected
official.
